
PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
Called to Protect For Ministries: A three-hour training for all clergy, employees and applicable volunteers. Training is facilitated by a designated trainer of the Archdiocese of Seattle certified by Praesidium, Inc.
Called to Protect for Parents & Families: A 1.5 hour training for parents, families and all interested in learning how to protect children. Training is facilitated by a designated trainer of the Archdiocese of Seattle certified by Praesidium, Inc.
Called to Protect For Youth: A three-part series that teaches youth about boundaries, how to respond if someone tries to violate their boundaries
and how to tell someone if they or a friend has been abused. Training is facilitated by a designated trainer of the Archdiocese of Seattle certified by Praesidium, Inc.
Talking About Touching: A research-based, age-appropriate personal safety curriculum designed for children pre-kindergarten through third grade. Curriculum is implemented by faculty who have completed training by a trainer certified by Committee for Children.
Armatus: An online (internet based) abuse prevention training. This
training will be taken as a follow-up/renewal for all Church Personnel
who have completed Called to Protect for Ministries in a previous year. |
